    Rojman Lama is son of father Yokta Tamang and mother Kaili Tamang. He was born in 1998/02/01 at Gatlang 6, Rasuwa. He is the second child of his father and mother. He has three brothers and one sister. His father’s occupation is a farmer but doesn’t have any land for farming. Everyday his father and mother go to work in neighbor’s house. They earn hardly 10 to 15 $ per month. That is not sufficient money for them, even hand to mouth too. Their children’s demands are increasing day by day. In this situation to provide food for son and daughter was very difficult for them.  Because of their miserable condition they could not give proper food and education for Rojman (Surya) Lama, he become far from his fundamental right and his Child Rights due to poverty. Father and mother felt burden of him in the family.

    According to his father and mother, they wandered many organizations requesting to keep their children or provide help, but nobody gave positive response. They only told them be keep in touch. Finally they came to Sagarmatha Children Home.

    They keep their entire problem to the home. Home listen them and went investigative. Finally SCH got same situation as explained by them.

    They gave request letter to Sagarmatha Children Home (SCH) keep son in 2005/03/28. And seeing such condition of his family, Village Development Committee office of Gatlang, Rasuwa refered him to SCH in 2007/12/24 with reference no 064/65 and dispatch no 19, for to give protection, take care and provide education. In this way he was admitted in Sagarmatha children home.

    When he was admitted in SCH, immediately admitted to BAL UDHAR Higher Seconday School at class 3 and after that he studied class five at Anandakuti Vidyapith School. And then again he was transformed to St. Jon’s English School, Katunje 9, Bhaktpur. He was admitted here at class 6. He is sharp minded boy. He did well in class six and jumped into class 8 directly without reading class seven. He is staying at same orphanage. He is intelligent, laborious, disciplined and neat and clean boy. He is interested to read newspaper, driving, and watching movies. He is healthy boy of the home. He wants to be an engineer in future, if he got sny kind of support for his education.
