Kabita Balika is a given name by Sagarmatha Children Home. She is foundling child. According to Metropolitan police circle, Thimi, Bhaktapur letter dated 2007/07/22 with dispatch No.13 and reference No. 064/065 she was found at Madhyapur, Thimi Municipality Ward No. 16 under the Manahara Bridge, approximately aged 12/15 days, in crying condition. After the baby was found police inquired with local person and searched her guardian but no one could found and come to contact, so she was sent for protection in Sagarmatha Children Home (SCH).

She was admitted in SCH in 2007/07/23 and home sent all her report to Police Headquarter, Crime Investigation Department for search of her parents and give information back  to home, if she has any guardian or not. And similarly public notice published in The Gorkhapatra Daily in 2007/07/26,  about 35 days whether she has guardian or not and if guardian come to contact. But within pointed day SCH did not get response. Police Headquarter inform to children home in 2008/01/08., that they could not found her relative and no one came to claim and search her. After that children home went further more process, make orphan proof certificate, birth certificate and other relevant documents.

Now she stays in children home and Studies at play group. Her physical condition is normal. She is talkative and active. She speaks Nepali language. She sings, dance. She quarrels some time with her friends but she is sociable too.
